MORGAN HILL — October 26, 2026. Two municipal well projects are at different stages as Morgan Hill works on water-system capacity. A test well behind Jackson Park near Remington Court has been drilled and completed, while Eagle View Well No. 1, near White Moon Drive, has reached a depth of 370 feet.

Jackson Park test results will determine the next step

The city says the Jackson-area test well is complete, but a decision to construct a full municipal production well depends on favorable water quality and sufficient production volume. The announcement does not state that a new public drinking-water source is operational at Jackson Park today.

Eagle View has a second construction phase ahead

The city’s contractor Zim Industries finished drilling the Eagle View well. The next phase must install pumps, electrical systems and a building before the well can enter service. Morgan Hill anticipates that phase in mid-2027, and another water-quality test is planned. A completed borehole alone is not an operational drinking-water facility.

Residents near the work areas should follow any posted construction signs. For Eagle View project questions, the city lists David.Gittleson@morganhill.ca.gov.
